Earthquake Preparedness Drill: Strengthening Safety and Readiness Across TGT Global Offices

TGT Global teams participated in a coordinated earthquake drill to enhance safety awareness and emergency preparedness across our sites. Led by our safety officers, the activity emphasized swift response, organized evacuation, and our ongoing commitment to protecting people and operations.

Last November, our teams at Mabuhay Tower, Aeon Centre, and MDC100 took part in an earthquake preparedness drill — an important initiative to ensure our people stay safe and our operations remain steady during unexpected events.

Since earthquakes are common in the Philippines, these exercises play a key role in keeping your offshore teams protected and ready.

Before the drill began, our Safety Officers gathered all on-site staff for a quick but thorough briefing. They walked everyone through what to do before, during, and after an earthquake, how to identify safe spots, and the correct drop, cover, and hold on procedure.

These reminders help our teams respond quickly and confidently, which directly supports smooth operations for our partners.

The drill was led by Jun Tantiado, our Senior Manager for Facilities and a certified Occupational Safety Officer. Together with our safety marshalls, Jun helped guide employees through an organized evacuation at each site. Their coordination ensured the drill ran efficiently and also highlighted areas we can continue improving — because preparedness is an ongoing effort.

This activity reflects our commitment to keeping our teams safe and maintaining business continuity, even during unexpected situations.

A scheduled drill for our Eco Tower office is coming up next, as we continue strengthening emergency readiness across all TGT Global locations.
